Question about giveaways.....

Sorry for the absence. I haven't had the words or time to really write a post... Because I didn't think that you would just want to see the same pictures that I would post on my Facebook page. (If I'm wrong please let me know)

Today I want to talk about something that I've been thinking about a lot lately...

Giveaways.

I noticed that a lot of people will start to follow a page or a blog just for giveaway and then shortly thereafter un like or stop following. And it honestly really kind of irks me a little bit. People continuously do this... I mean really do you think a page or blog is not going to ever do another giveaway. I mean really....  if you like a page you should not like it just because of the giveaway you should like it because of the nail art or the person behind it. So for those people that just follow this blog or like my facebook page they're just doing it for a giveaway please trust and believe that I do notice when I post about having a giveaway and then get more likes shortly thereafter. I do make note of it so, you can't win back to back giveaways. So with that being said, I don't know that I want to do anymore Rafflecopter giveaways. I am thinking about just doing random giveaways where you don't know when it will happen or what you'll have to do for the giveaway.

I would like your opinion and thoughts on how you would like giveaways to happen. Would you like Rafflecopter? Would you like contests? Would you like random? Or would you prefer something more monthly... where there's a monthly contest?

Please let me know your opinions and thoughts. You can leave it in the comments below or you can go to my Facebook fan page and leave your opinions and thoughts there too. I do accept constructive criticism but I do not accept or condone hate so please take it somewhere else if that's all you have in your heart.

Nailnation 3000 review No Rest For The Wicked and Glam Bot

Hello all,

Sorry I haven't posted anything in awhile.... Life got hectic for a little bit. I am back now and am going to try and post once a week.

Anyway today I have some Nailnation 3000 polishes to show you... I have shown you one of them before but now I have added some accent nails to go with it :)

So below are the items that I used...

(Left to Right:) NailNaition 3000 - Skunk Base coat, Glam Bot, Striping tape, No Rest For The Wicked  and Seche Vite

First I have to say that I love LoVe LOVE the Skunk Base Coat. Yes it has a funny name but that it because this base coat is stinky... Not so stinky that it will run you out of the room but just enough that I would not recommend sticking up to your nose and taking a big whiff. The smell goes away as it dries leaving no smell at all when it's completely dry. It dries mildly sticky ( not sticky like if you pet your cat your will have furry nails lol but sticky in a good way ) which makes your polish stick to it better. I have soooooooo much less chipping when I use this as my base.

Direct Sunlight

In direct sunlight... Look at NRFTW Glow!

So obviously I started with the Skunk Base Coat then did a coat of No Rest For The Wicked on my first, middle and pinkie fingers and Glam Bot on the ring and thumb. I used two coats of both colors and waited for them to completely dry. While they were drying I cut my striping tape into pieces and stuck them to my desk for easy access later. After about 20 minutes or so I carefully put the striping tape onto the Glam Bot nails in the pattern I wanted, in this case quilted/squares/windows which ever you want to call it, and then painted one coat of No Rest For The Wicked over the tape. Waited about 15-20 seconds and then started removing the striping tape in the reverse order of which I put them on (last one first and so on). I have found that if you pull the tape off while the polish is still wet, before it gets tacky or dry, that there is much less of a chance to pull up more than what is on the tape. Now that is just what works for me I don't know if that's how you are supposed to do it or not. Again waited for that to be completely dry then topped with a coat of Seche Vite. (Make sure to wrap the tips)

No Rest For The Wicked (priced at $13.00 USD) is a black holo that is just to die for. The holo in it glows whether you are in the sun or not. It's a one to two coater depending on how you like it. I personally always do two coats just to make sure everything is covered (that and I have OCD lol)

Glam Bot (priced at $13.00 USD) is a barbie pink holo that is awesomely bright (but not shockingly bright, She has a couple BRIGHT Pink holos though. Check out her page). Kinda sheer in one coat but completely opaque in two.

I love using striping tape because there are so many uses and designs you can make with it.  I got mine from ebay for like $2 (USD) shipped for 10 rolls.

Ruby White Tips Review

Hello all,

I had the pleasure of reviewing a polish for Ruby White Tips! The polishes current name is Three-Four??? but the name might be changed before the launch. What an odd name I thought but Laura (the maker) explained that she has temporarily given it this name because of how many colors she has seen in it... Makes sense to me. She says 'Needs a new name. I was thinking "Oh my" ' 

This polish was sent to me for review so everything expressed here is my honest and unbiased opinion.

At first glance when pulling the brush out of the bottle I thought WOW this is runny! But on the contrary! Goes on very smooth! This is a layering polish. This color is very versatile! It pulls so many different colors depending on what you put under it!
